Tokens that resolve, rather than a palette you have to resolve yourself. Every color is defined against a background role, so a component written once reads correctly on any surface in either theme.

Spacing, radius, elevation and typography scales
Color defined by role — neutral-weak, brand-strong — not by hex
Light and dark resolved from the same source, no duplicated palette
Emitted as CSS custom properties, with a TypeScript map for the values

Adopting it

The tokens sit under your existing styles rather than replacing them. Adopt one scale at a time; nothing breaks while the migration is half done.
