There is a point in every piece of work where further effort stops improving
it and starts merely changing it. Most people cannot feel that point, so they
either stop far short of it or sail well past.
Finishing is not stopping
Stopping is running out of time. Finishing is deciding the thing now does what
it was for, and that the next change would be for you rather than for it.The tell is who the change serves. If you cannot name a reader it helps, you
are decorating.
